So this is how I spent the big day.
I had to go to work. But the thing is that I work at, or more properly as, the security of Miss Tourism International 2009. It was awesome! The thing I did the whole night was just to remind people that video recording is prohibited in the premise, guard some stuff, DRINK BEER (FREE BEER!) and watch all those beautiful chicks walking around, and all those beautiful chicks are not only from the pageant. The two beer sales promotion girls are awesome, along with a couple of guests ^^.
It was... awesome. I didn't miss the fireworks and we got extra money!!!

Genting Sick Trip
So.... This is a really awesome story bout our trip to Genting last time. We decided to go there, so the five of us, Me, Kenvin, Vincent, Irsan and Jansen rented a car. We also invited Robin and Kris to come, but then again... no transport. Only until Mike suddenly changed to long pants. LOL. So there was nine of us. Since Irsan just finished watching a movie, Mike departed first.
So after everyone is ready, we started our... fateful... journey. We took a couple of wrong turns and ended up getting lost in KL at the middle of the night. However, the most interesting part was when we decided to take route 68 to Gombak area, cause my iPhone's map suggested that there might be a way back to get to the highway. However, after cruising for approximately half an hour, passing by two outskirt villages and one "Muzium Orang Asli" (LOL!!!) we reached a dead end. The road was bleak without any lighting, and there ahead of us was a dead tree lying, blocking our path. Damn creepy, just like it was taken out from a horror movie.
So... after turning around and then take a couple of "right" turns, we finally reached Genting. Everyone played and win, with Andrew winning 2k RM that night. Crazy. But the story didn't end here.
The journey back home was as exciting as the first one. We headed back at around 7 AM, and it was really hazy, the fog was thick as hell. LOL. So with Kenvin on the wheels, we "cruise" down Genting, with me and Vincent's head out the window to check the road for him. Scary, exciting, amusing? You name it. We finally reached home, safely and that was one sick trip.
Should do it again sometime boys.

Learned a super f-ing-awesomely-ridiculous-yet-still-a-very-f-ing-good advice today. Sometimes we just tend to feed our ego too much. I mean TOO MUCH. To the point of not thinking straight.
Well... We tend to justify our actions as in, like, everything (well, almost everything) we did and "will do" is right or correct, whichever term you prefer. But then again, when we look back, somehow all those bullshit becomes... meaningless... Haha... It's not until a friend or whoever it is tells you that everything inside your mind at that time was just some crazy bollocks, only then you will realize it.
But still... EGO is still EGO. And mine is hungry as hell. Haha. Time to feed it folks. But maybe after learning about this I'll give my EGO a diet. LOL.
Peace out.

Leave It All
So guys, this is the latest song composed by me for Eclipse. It's supposed to be a graduation song, but well, you decide what it means. LOL.
Eclipse - Leave It All
Music and Lyrics by Jeremy Januar
I know we're reaching,
the crossroads of our life.
Life goes on a different track,
for all of us.
But I know that this is not goodbye,
this is just a memory that we have to keep inside.
It's the end of this page,
beginning of a new one.
In this journey we called life.
(We'll never know)
It feels like an age from the day that we start,
seems like a blink of an eye it's all to me now.
We're not falling apart,
keep it all together.
All the quarrels left behind,
all the worries kept inside,
all the fight that we once had,
leave it all (4x)
behind...
Looking back now,
to the past that we once had.
Igniting memories,
of the days we left behind.
It's a finish line yet a brand new start,
not a happy end but not a sad one, too.
We're not falling apart,
keep it all together.
All the quarrels left behind,
all the worries kept inside,
all the fight that we once had,
leave it all (4x),
behind...
Time,
flew so fast.
I didn't even notice,
it was time for us to go.
My vision is so blurry now.
Can we ever go back,
to the yesterday,
yesterday we love...
Just wait for the recording. Spread the word guys.

Tiring day...
Yeah! Today is a very very tiring day for me. After getting soaked in a VERY VERY VERY heavy rain from the way back to condo from Summit, I still need to go to the futsal tournament. Damn tiring.
Good thing the result is quite nice... All the matches are very interesting. LOL. Very exciting. Too bad we only ended up on 13th position. Not bad.

Damn
There really is a problem. Only not much people know about it. Haha. Life is full of trivia... You never know which one you will get. Shit happens.
I'm in a foul mood right now. Been trying to relax for a couple of days now. But nothing seems to work. This problem is haunting me. Damn.

Situation
This entry is not about guitars. Not about any trips or any events.
This is just a slur of words just to satisfy my need to drain these mixed feelings now residing in my heart. Crap. It's been a long time since I discover the melancholic side of me again. And you know what? I hate it. It turns me to this miserable kind of person that I loathe. And why did I become like this, you ask? Too bad I can't just tell all my private matters in a blog and just hope that everyone will understand. This heavy weight now sitting comfortably on my shoulders must be sustained only by me. Not anyone else.
Can you imagine how hard it is to sometimes put up the happy-go-lucky face you show your friends everyday? It's damn fucking hard. But hey, it's not their fault. It's not even your fault. It's just like all those punch lines in TV series that is always said when a couple is breaking up. "It's not you. It's me." Sure, it's not you. It's just a piece of crap that I say to just put everything behind. At least I don't intend to blame anyone. It's nobody's fault anyway. Serious.
This feeling is like being a cliffhanger. You never know what will happen to you if even ONE of your equipments suddenly breaks. You fall, you die. You managed to find a grip, you'll survive. Maybe yes, maybe not. But then again, life is all about taking risks, right? Just like all those crappy banking and finance lecturers always say, "High risk, high return. Low risk, low return." Low risk now means I just have to stop. Stop this madness. Then the return will be low as well. Nothing happens. But playing my high risk card will... erm... will really put me up in a fucked up situation. Do I really need to do this? The sacrifice will be too costly if the worst happen. The stake is too high.
Never back down. Never give up. Never... never say surrender. That's what my father taught me every time I fail a subject. As long as you try your best. That quote will be stuck in my head for a long time. Maybe until I die or became too old to remember. All my heart, I wanted to continue to fight this battle until its conclusion. But why, of all times, did it happen now? When I got these three heavy weight subjects. The pressure, mate. The pressure. It's like having to lift a mountain, while walking through the sea as well. Any mistake, say goodbye. There is no room for mistake. I only have one shot. And that is all. Man, my hand is trembling. My brain is malfunctioning due to a dilemma on whether I should do it or not. Can I hit the bull's eye? Or will I miss and ends up dead. Dead.
Damn. There's more to life than this.

Back at Indo...
Wow... I haven't been updating this blog since, January? Damn, guess those exams have taken up too much of my time to even consider updating my blog. Well....
Summer course is now officially over, I'm back at Indonesia today with Teguh, Ibnu and Feli at 5.30 PM. Back to the humid, hot weather. Back to the traffic jams jamming both my car and my brain. Back to... doing nothing ^^.
Anyways, this summer have been great. Fantastic. Fabulous. I don't even know a word that can describe it. Maybe I'm over exaggerating, maybe I'm not. But really, this summer is full with excitement, excitement and some more excitement.
Starts with the campus guide job (Even though me and Fantony didn't actually apply for the job, but we got it anyway...), the day we nearly die (Never will forget that day. Guh, I HATE U for this!), our own special XMas Eve (Arabian food, damn creative.), New Year at Italianies, Joko's, Ibnu's and my surprise birthdays (Still need to thank u guys), our practically did-nothing-at-CNY event, the hellish studying period, and of course, the two days of pure hell. Well, the karaoke and the movie did cheer the second day up a lil' bit.
Bottom line. I met new people (I regret one, though.), we did crazy things, things works out really well, despite all the troubles we went through.
N.B.: Again, pics will be posted on (hopefully) next post. Dunno when it will be. LOL. Enjoy ur holiday guys.

20
I'm (finally) 20!!! Yeah, 23rd January is my Bday... LOL... It's a special one!
So at 23rd we have 2 assignments (the gift from Monash, damn!) so I expect the others didn't remember my Bday. I mean, I'm totally ok about that, coz the assignments are pretty hard... But then, the next day Lung2 asked us whether we want to watch Red Cliff 2 (A damn good movie, must watch), so I said YES!
Later that night (at 23rd), we first went to Ming Tian to eat. LOL, the alibi is that Teguh is hungry, whether it's true or not, lots of thx to u man! And when we reach there, from outside the place I saw Lung2 lighting up a candle on a CAKE!!! WOW! I'm totally surprised! I really didn't expect this one! There you go, a really smart planning by Vico, Teguh and the others!
Vico told me that he and Lung2 went to Pyramid at 6 to get the cake (Thx a lot guys) and Ibnu and Teguh stay with me to, FOOL me! LOL... Nice move!!!
Thx very much for the cake guys, u are the best! Thx for making my 20th Bday a special one!!!
N.B: Photos will be on the next post!

Singapore Guitar Trip, Day 2
I know it's long overdue, but whatever... LOL...
So... We start the day by going to Angga's house (it's Sunday, btw). From there we went to the nearest place for guitars n stuffs. The place is located in the Peace Center. The shop is called City Music, selling lots of stompboxes and ovation guitars. Sweet.
The next place is quite far from the 1st one. It's a place located near Orchard, in a quite old building. Soooooo.... There are 3 guitar shops there, Sweelee, Ranking, the other one I forget the name. LOL... Ranking is selling mid-end guitar, some unknown brands and generally general musical instruments. Got some Fender and PRS as well, but very limited.
The other one focus more on stompboxes, n I think they also deal with second hand stuff. But the things offered there is quite nice. The thing is, Swee Lee, the biggest one is really mind-blasting (quoting Russell Peters). It got two separate rooms, one consisting Fender custom shop model (EVH, Clapton, SRV, n others) and the other containing Gibson and Gretsch (White Falcon, SG Reissue n others. I think there is one Angus Young sig there). Too bad the shops in this place doesn't allow us to take pictures. But i really recommend going to swee lee if u'r looking for more high-end stuff. U'll be satisfied, trust me.
Next stop. Orchard. Nothing to tell about here, only malls and lots, LOTS of hot chicks. LOL. We went to HMV and several other malls. Nothing really special.
Later that night we spend some time at a game center where I found out one of the coolest game i have ever seen. A football and strategy card game that can be played on some platform. It's really coooooollll... I mean it's like RTS using cards, n they can also play internationally. WOW!!!
Check this out:
After the game zone, we went to a pub to watch a Chelsea match. LOL. Stupid Peter Cech, letting a goal at 90'.
After the game, we went back to Angga's place. And therefore it concludes the 2nd day of my Singapore Guitar Trip.

Wasabi Champ
Yesterday we went to 1Utama. Nothing specific to do, just hanging out there. The thing is, at night, we went to eat at Sushi Zanmai. After the meal, we had a very stupid game invented by our own Teguh (Damn u Guh!). Soooooo.... The rule of the game is very simple, we eliminate the players one by one by playing rock-paper-scissor until 1 person is left, and that person have to eat 1 sushi (tamago-maki) plus lot of wasabi paste. By a lot I mean... A LOT!!!!!
So the first one to eat is.... LUNG2!!!! LOL... I still had my laugh at that time.
After the second game, I laugh no more.
Why? Coz i eat 4 times IN A ROW!!!! WOW...
The last one to eat is Vincent (thank goodness not me again)... LOL...
And at last we force the other three, Enrico, Vico and Teguh to eat as well... LOL!
Meet Jeremy, the wasabi eating champion of the day...
N.B. Videos will be posted later

BUSTED!
LOL... Today sumthin funny happen. After watchin a midnite movie "Outlander" (Film's good, story sucks, watch at ur own risk), we went to eat and then we are late to enter the condo complex. Thing is there are these trucks parked just outside the gate... What happen next is damn funny...
After Teguh, Blade and Joko (Halfway) went over the gate (I'm still stuck at the other side) there's this security guard telling us that it is late already and we are not supposed to do this (DOH, of course we aren't supposed to do this). But instead of letting us go (We're on the other freakin' side already, except me), the guard told us to... get back to the other side... Stupid.
