1st day in SG

Well, I'm back in MY where I have my internet connection again. LOL... So well, the first day in SG we went out to look for guitar parts. Good thing my friend, Ie2 knows quite a lot of place to look. Soooo.... We went to the 1st place, located near the City Hall (LOL, info for u guys looking for guitars and accessories as well) called the Peninsula Plaza. This place got a few guitar stores inside, but the most interesting one is called "davis guitar music centre". The store is REALLY nice... LOL, got quite some interesting guitars inside. Take a look.

See all those gorgeous Fenders, ESPs and PRSs? They have heaps of those around, including my dream guitar, the PRS hollowbody!!! Damn nice.

An interesting ESP, angel shaped. Probably u have seen it on the internet, but this store actually got one!!!

Two Doraemon guitar (200 item limited edition!!!), a liquid metal guitar, looks nice, and a what-I-assume a Zaku axe shaped guitar. LOL. Too many surprises.

The store also got a huge selection of Seymour Duncan pickups and other guitar and bass effects as well. Actually this is not the only store in the building. There are other about 5-6 stores beside this one, but this one is (for me) the best!!!!

After the guitar trip, we went to a studio to jam. On the MRT station I found a VERY interesting sign.

I've seen various signs before, but this one knocks the others out. I know it's common sense not to eat durian in public indoor places since it will smell really GOOD for me. LOL... But to impose a sign with a durian sign in it? Hilarious. LOL.

Too bad I got no photos of us jamming. The studio is quite nice, better than most situated in KL. The amps are all high quality amps and the acoustic of the room is good as well.

At night, we went to the RED LIGHT DISTRICT of Singapore............ GEYLANG!!!! For sightseeing only though.

The place is... unbelievable. So many pubs and brothels, but also a lot of... temples and some churches!!! What is it for? Go figure.

Though our main objective is to take a look at the "workers" in this area, this red car spoils the fun. We have to wait 4 freaking hours to... go sightseeing. LOL. XD

On the way back, we found another interesting place. Guys, dare to go inside?

We doesn't directly go back. Too much waste of my precious 4 day trip. So we went to a bar where I find an amazing band called the "Goodfellas". They are damn good. Dead serious.

Too bad our spot is not nice to take a photo from. LOL. Singapore is nice. For now.

That's it for my first day. An interesting one!

I'm in SINGAPORE!!!

Actually yesterday (or 2 days ago from the time I write this post, LOL, 3 AM in the morning already), I went to Singapore to meet up with friends and go "cuti2". The journey takes about 6 hours.... SO TIRING... Good thing I met and Indonesian and we end up chatting along the trip. LOL... Makes the long journey a bit more bearable...

Anyway, today I went to various places. I call my tour the "SG Guitar Tour". LOL... Actually I went to Singapore to look up some guitar stuffs as well. LOL... Too tired to write long posts... See u in the next post (I'm including some pictures as well)...

Think of my trip as a guitar buyer guide Singapore!

Enter the Guitar Geek...

Figured out that most of my friends actually have a blog here, so moved here from LJ (where the main purpose is to look for DL links for J-Dramas... ) LOL~

So yeah, name's Jeremy, 19 livin at KL Malaysia @ the moment! Hometown Jakarta, Indonesia... Studyin @ Monash MY, entering my 3rd year... I love guitars. Playing them. Destroying them. LOL... JK... Basically I'm sum1 u would usually call a rock star wannabe... Maybe I'm a wannabe, maybe I'm not. We'll see later... I suppose I know quite much bout guitars, so if any of u hv any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Own an Ibanez S320, Marshall MC15CD and a Zoom G2.1u pedal... I'm now looking for those analog stomboxesssssss.... It's driving me crazy how those small boxes are damn expensive. Need a couple of more months to finish up my pedalboard then...

I actually dunno why I suddenly write blogs... LOL... Maybe cause lots of my friends also created blogs and it's kinda interesting to share your thoughts! HAHA... And here I am, talking bout guitars... LOL... Hope u guys will give a damn...
